A 3D print manufacturer needed to define its brand identity before entering a competitive online market.
Journey
Following an initial discovery chat to understand the business, values, goals and aspirations of growth, I created a moodboard of iconography, messaging and focuses that best fit the founder’s vision. This created a solid foundation to move forward into the design concept stage, confident in their preferences.
It can be difficult for clients to fully describe their idea without a visual aid, which is why I always provide multiple variations during any logo creation project. This helps in reviewing, identifying and communicating feedback as the brand develops.
Outcome
Staying true to a core mission of independent and accessible creation, as well as understanding their mainly digital market, I created a bold and modern logomark, incorporating the founder's desired symbolism and style.
In this case, two of the designs were equally favoured and helped to develop a new arm to their business they had not previously considered.
