Nisbet’s, a leading catering equipment supplier, wanted to create a customer-facing magazine that highlighted their latest and best-selling products. To further add intrigue — and avoid it becoming yet another sales catalogue — we chose to shine a spotlight on emerging hospitality tastes and trends, as well as interviews with notable restaurants, paired with ‘get the look’ Nisbets products.
This required research and monitoring of the hospitality sector, identifying the hottest breakout restaurants and chefs, conducting interviews and drafting feature content that would resonate with customers — as well as that period’s chosen product range.
Outcome
Three issues of It’s ON were produced. I was the primary writer and researcher on this project, contacting and exclusively interviewing nine established restauranters. Design and layout support was also provided to the designers, so as to mitigate any impact on their regular work schedule elsewhere across the brand.
